Not a caring Vet! Recommended incorrect food to my Puppy causing it Colitis and great distraught. Partner Miss Dean very rude when I complained and failed to take any responsibility, suggesting I go to another Vet. I had already transferred my Puppy and refused to pay the bill for their mistake. I have heard bad things of this Vet and do not recommend it if you care about your animals as they only care about how much money they can make instead of the health of your pet. Miss Dean tries to make out she is a animal lover as she has pets of her own but she is a Money lover!

Went to claim my free puppy food from the Vets and they gave me the ncorrect food. My Puppy eats Royal Canin Junior (Medium breed) they gave me Vetinary Exclusive for Skin and Digestive Sensitivity Junior (Medium breed) and insisted that this was the same food and that they had changed the packaging. After numerous calls of advising them it was the incorrect brand, in which they denied, I returned the food, took my puppy of it straight away as it had caused him diarrhoea, mucus and blood in his stool! Took him staright to the Vet and he was diagnosed with Colitis (due to the fodd upsetting his gut!) he had to have his Temperature taken, should of been 2 injection, but was 3 as some of the medicine spurted out of the syringe as the vetinarian was not holding my puppy correctly and then had to give him a extra shot! The whole ordeal has caused myself and my 14 week puppy distress and upset! I called the Head Office of Royal Canin to confirm that they had not changed the packaging and they advised me thay had not and the food I had been give was incorrect. The Receptionist staff are more helpful than the Vetenarian Director Jo Dean! She is rude and an uncaring Vetinarian who cannot not take any reponsibility for any mistakes her staff make and does not care that her Clinic causes her Patients and Owners distress. She is only in Vetinarian for the Capital reward! The impression she give is that she pushes as many patients as she can within the day and neglects her patients needs and Owners Questions e/g too good to show a Owner how to clean a Puppies ears correctly or brush it's teeth, even prior before another Vet said she would show me this on my next visit! Miss Dean needs to realise she may see so many animals but these so called 'animals'are a family members to us and to a pound sign! I have transferred my Puppy to a better Clinic due to her rudness and uncaring nature and will file a complaint with the RCVS and will never recommend The Shrubbery to anyone! I had heard bad reports about this Clinic and did not want to believe it and now I have experienced it first hand!!
